Our enthusiastic teams at N.E.T. Group are experts in planning and executing special events. We can provide the talent, production, experience, and the know how to ensure your event is a memorable occasion.
Talent - N.E.T. Group represents numerous entertainers ranging from international recording artists to major Canadian success stories. We also represent numerous club acts that tour regularly across Canada and the United States. N.E.T. Group will put you in touch with the right act for your function based on availability, genre of music, and most importantly budget.
Production – Based on each show’s specific requirements, N.E.T. Group will determine and can provide all production needs, such as, staging, audio/visual equipment, lighting, special effects, technical crew, catering and signage. We can handle everything from set up to tear down!
Experience – Although N.E.T. Group is a newly formed agency; their team has over 70 years of experience in the Entertainment industry. The N.E.T. team has provided entertainment solutions for conventions, fundraisers, community festivals, sports events, fairs & exhibitions, private party’s and massive outdoor concerts.
Know How – We pride ourselves on our ability to match our artist roster to the needs of any client. We take special care in evaluating the budget, theme, demographics, artist availability, venue, and technical specifications top to bottom! Mark Smith
Mark Smith is the founder and lead vocalist for the award winning band “The Poverty Plainsmen.” Mark’s experience out on the road brings a wealth of knowledge to the table for the N.E.T. team. Mark also is co owner of the 2006 club of the year,
“The Pump Roadhouse” as well as “The Drink” and “The Distrikt” all located in Regina, Saskatchewan. Mark has won numerous awards during his career including CCMA Independent Group of the Year in 2001 and 2006, CCMA Rising Star 2001, Album of the Year “There’s No Lookin Back” 2006, and 12 SCMA various awards including “Booking Agent of the Year”.
Mark brings his expertise to the N.E.T. Group both as a very accomplished artist, and a successful club owner. Mark Smith’s experience and knowledge is a huge asset to the N.E.T. Group.
Jeff Stephen
Jeff Stephen also brings a wealth of experience and knowledge to the N.E.T. Group.
Jeff pioneered the SIGA Casino’s of Saskatchewan into bringing in live shows, and also the Aseneskak Casino in The Pas, Manitoba. Jeff also created the marketing programs that are highly successful to this day at these Casinos. Jeff also understands the music industry, as he is an accomplished musician as well as a promoter, so he truly understands both sides of the coin. Jeff managed several successful nightclubs in Saskatchewan over the last 15 years including The Moosehead Inn Kenosee, and Holly’s in Yorkton. Jeff specializes in event promotion and marketing, and has consulted numerous annual events, producing talents ranging from comedians, novelty acts, to live bands.
Jeff Stephen has a great understanding of how the music industry thrives, and his credibility in the industry is also a great asset to National Event & Talent.
